- Two new topics in our Physical Therapy Corner: Low Back Pain and Lumbar Stabilization Exercises and a page with info on several Complementary Therapies.
- Information on Swimmer's Shoulder in our Training Tips.
- You can read healthy diet guidelines in our Sports Nutrition Corner. Also, Sport Nutritionist and Research Associate Beth Glace was recently quoted in a New York Post article on the dangers of hyponatremia (an area in which she has conducted research with ultra-marathon runners).
- New on our Research Pages is a section comprised of selected research presentations given at several meetings.

- We have new information on Pre-Golf Stretches in our section of Training Tips.
- Our Athletic Trainers' Corner has been updated with a page on Quadriceps Contusions.
- Our Research Pages have been updated with the latest current projects, a long overdue update to our abstract archives, along with our years 2000 and 2001 research reports, as well as some software we have developed for biomechanics analysis.
- Finally, a long-overdue welcome to the two newest therapists on our staff: Tom Donofrio and Michael Mullaney.

- We've updated our Hot Topic, and made it twice as nice by adding pages on two popular supplements: glucosamine and androstenedione.

- We've finally finished a site redesign. Hope you like the new look--let us know if it's the best thing ever, or if it really bites.
- We've added a function to search the site. You can find a search box on the top of every page. Also, an advanced search page with more options is available. The search uses ht://Dig, a most excellent search engine.
- Our Hot Topic has been updated: learn about Snowboarding Injuries.
- A new section in our Orthopedics Corner: Immediate Post-Operative Shoulder Surgery Guidelines.
- The Research section of our site has been updated: our long-neglected publications archive has been updated, along with the description of our research facilities, and a section on ongoing projects has been added.
- More staff changes: we wave goodbye to physical therapists Ben Gelfand and Michael Fox (good luck in the world of private practice!) So please welcome aboard Deborah Jurist and Bob McCabe. Also a much belated welcome aboard new research assistants Eric Gartman and Danielle Tetro.

- Staff news: longtime Director of Research Gil Gleim leaves us after 23 years of service to take a job as Research Director for the Owen Heart Center at Mission St. Joseph's Hospital in Asheville, NC. Taking over for him as Research Coordinator is our very own Malachy McHugh. Also, NISMAT has a new Director: Dr. Stephen Nicholas, the son of our founder, Dr. James Nicholas.
- More in the Physical Therapy Corner: Burner Syndrome, Spondylolisthesis and Spondylolysis in Gymnasts , and Eccentric Training for Treatment of Achilles Tendinosis .
- A new section in our Sports Nurition Corner on The Zone Diet.

- Back from the dead again! Almost exactly one year to the date, our site gets hacked again. Nothing new, but some functions (like the database of our research abstracts) may not be available. Coming soon, we promise!
