Double-contrast arthrography of the knee. Its value in the management of two hundred and twenty-five knee derangements.by Nicholas JA, Freiberger RH, Killoran PJ. - last modified 2013-05-21 09:35
J Bone Joint Surg Am. 1970 Mar;52(2):203-20.

Currently arthrography of the knee is not in universal use primarily because

most orthopaedic surgeons do not believe that it provides greater precision in

diagnosis than is obtainable by history, physical examination, and the usual

roentgenograms. We believe differently and hope to convince the reader that

arthrography of the knee is a very useful procedure, enhancing diagnostic accuracy

in a number of troublesome knee conditions.
